Get a Library Card

Iowa Library Services (ILS)/State Library encourages Iowans to use their local public library as their "home" library.

If you would like a library card from ILS/State Library, complete the online Borrow Registration Form and click Submit.  With your ILS/State Library library card you can check out materials when you visit the ILS/State Library and use your library card number to access online databases such as EBSCOhost.  For other services such as interlibrary loan, you will need to go through your local public library.
