Reports due at State Library by July 31

Reports include Direct State Aid, Interlibrary Loan Reimbursement and Open Access.

Three reports are due at the State Library by July 31, 2010:

1.  Direct State Aid (public libraries only).  Tip:  Make sure the amount you report is the exact amount you received.  For the amount of Direct State Aid your library received, go to http://www.statelibraryofiowa.org/ld/enrich-ia.  Scroll to the bottom and click on Enrich Iowa Funding Amount FY10.

2.  Interlibrary Loan Reimbursement.  Tip:  Report only if you have transactions done outside of SILO and OCLC.  If all your ILL transactions were done through SILO and/or OCLC, there is no need to report because the State Library will obtain your library's ILL statistics from SILO and OCLC.

3.  Open Access.  Tip:  Open Access is the program that enables people from other participating libraries to go to your library to check things out.  Report the number of items checked out to people from each participating library.  The participating libraries are listed on the report form.

All three report forms are available on this page.  http://www.statelibraryofiowa.org/ld/enrich-ia

Payments to your library are based on these reports.  Direct State Aid checks are usually sent in November / early December.  ILL and Open Access checks are usually sent in January.
