Summer Reading Workshop

The State Library of Iowa, along with Missy Mayfield-Cook of the Winthrop Public Library and Cathy Shaw of the Edgewood Public Library will offer eight summer reading workshops around the State during the last week of October and the first week of November. The workshops will last from 10-3:00, usually with an hour for lunch and will offer 4 hours of CE. Because of reduced funding, we won’t be able to offer snacks, but you’re welcome to bring your own bottles of water, coke and snacks. The workshops this year are going to be especially fun and high-energy and you’re guaranteed to leave with energy, enthusiasm and lots of ideas for programs and story hours.
