Participate in Gates Grant Conference Call

The Gates Foundation Grant Conference Call for Iowa will take place on Thursday, August 15, 2002. The conference call is scheduled for 3:00-5:00 PM, Central Time. The toll-free phone number and participation code for each public library is listed on the Grant Application Resource Guide.

To participate in the conference call, dial the number before 3 p.m. You do not need to pre-register. An automated system will prompt you to enter your participation code and then will connect you to the call.

The conference call will begin with brief introductory remarks by staff members from the Gates Foundation. The rest of the call will consist of questions from Iowa librarians and answers from Gates Foundation staff. You will be able to hear the answers to questions from other Iowa librarians.

There will be only one caller per grant application. Callers should not use a cell phone. Callers are asked to keep phones on mute when not speaking.
