Clarification Regarding Direct State Aid Checks

On Monday, November 17, the State Library mailed Direct State Aid checks to eligible public libraries.  The envelope is labeled "Time Sensitive Material."  The mailing includes a check for FY04 Direct State Aid funds, a letter of explanation, and a Direct State Aid report form.

Although the check is labeled "Enrich Iowa," 100 percent of the check is for Direct State Aid; the check is all of the Direct State Aid your library will receive this year.

Enrich Iowa funds include Direct State Aid, Open Access and Access Plus.  The check in this mailing does not include payments for Open Access or Access Plus.  A separate check for those programs will be mailed in December.
