Basic Computer Security Course Offered

This workshop is being offered as part of the training made possible through the Gates Training Program grant received by the State Library of Iowa.  It will focus on basic security options and software available to help you control your computers.  Topics will include:  "freezing" your computers; virus and spyware protection; protecting patron privacy.  Similar to "Security in the Real World" offered last fall, this workshop will be mostly lecture and demonstration.
