Newbery and Caldecott medals announced
The novel Criss Cross by Lynne Rae Perkins has won the 2006 John Newbery Medal and Chris Raschka won the 2006 Randolph Caldecott Medal for The Hello, Goodbye Window, written by Norton Juster.
The awards were announced this morning at the ALA’s midwinter
conference in San Antonio.
