Thursday, September 28       Urbandale
Friday, September 29           Urbandale

Town Meetings provide opportunities to learn about major issues affecting libraries, gain ideas for improving programs and services, and get to know State Library and Library Service Area staff better. 

Returning in 2006 is the smash hit talk show “Library Talk” featuring hot library issues!  How does the public see libraries and what are the implications for the future?  Some of the public’s perceptions will delight you -- others will make you squirm.

Afternoon sessions include:

    •  Keep, Toss, Organize - How We’re Cleaning Up the
       Silo Locator
    •  Library Board Orientation
