Mary Cameron Elected President of CSLP

State Library Youth Services Coordinator, Mary Cameron, became president of the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) on December 1, 2006.  Her term will end June 1, 2008.

CSLP includes representatives from 42 states who gather yearly to come up with new themes, art work, public service announcements and incentives for future summer reading programs.

According to Cameron, CSLP is working hard to organize itself into a more business-like organization.

"The bottom line is that we want all states to have quality summer reading materials," said Cameron.
