Reception Planned for Mary Cameron

2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 30, State Library of Iowa, Des Moines
As many of you are aware, Mary Cameron, Youth Services Consultant, is leaving the State Library for a position in the Department of Education relating to adolescent literacy.
A reception for Mary will be held at the State Library from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 30 in room 300 of the Ola Babcock Miller Building located on the corner of E. 12th and Grand. Parking is available behind the building.
Mary has been the Youth Services Consultant at the State Library since June 1999. A few of her many responsibilities include the Summer Library Program, consulting with librarians on youth services in libraries, coordinating and/or conducting conferences and workshops related to youth services such as KidsFirst, and summer library program and early literacy workshops. She currently serves as the president of the national Collaborative Summer Library Program.
