Directors Roundtable: Advocacy

General advocacy topics and an update on legislative issues concerning Iowa libraries will be the focus of the first hour. Sarah Willeford, the Director of the Kirkendall Public Library in Ankeny and the current chair of the ILA - Governmental Affairs Committee; Mary Wegner, the State Librarian; and Iowa Library Services staff Sandy Dixon and Jet Kofoot will present the program. This is an excellent opportunity to refresh your advocacy skills, prepare for upcoming legislative events and network with colleagues.

The session will include an hour of continuing education programming followed by an hour long roundtable discussion.
