Youth Services Roundtable: Advocacy for Youth Services Librarians

Join us for a state-wide moderated panel and conversation about the unique role youth services librarians can play in advocating for our public libraries. Our programs and services for families, children and teens are important in our communities. Learn how to communicate more clearly with your communities and your legislators on the importance of public libraries. Panelists will include Mary Wegner, State Librarian and Sarah Willeford, Chair, ILA Government Affairs Committee. The panel will be moderated by Merri Monks.

The panel portion of the roundtable will be about an hour; the remaining portion of the two-hour session will be an around-the-state exchange of ideas.
