Commissioners meet to discuss array of topics

The Iowa Commission of Libraries, the governing board for Iowa Library Services (IaLS), met on December 6 at the Babcock Miller Building. Some of the topics discussed were the establishment of a task force to review the Open Access Terms of Agreement; hearing a review of the IaLS Advisory Panel November meeting from Greg Heid, director of the Des Moines Public Library and chairman of the Advisory Panel; and encouraging IaLS to send a post-reorganization survey to Iowa librarians.
