Iowa artist Jennifer Mitchard exhibits during January

Jennifer Mitchard's artwork will be exhibited at the State Library - Main Library - during  the month of January 2013. Mitchard is a painter, graphic designer, and photographer living and working in downtown Des Moines.  She co-owns JeTim Art Photography which was founded in 2009.  Her work ranges from realistic to abstract though most pieces incorporate both.  Mitchard uses contour lines to explore faces, figures, and shapes creating images that are slightly abstract.  She studied art in northern California and central Iowa.
