Join us as we look at the many ways library collections are developed. Even if your collection budget is stable, you still need to stretch your dollars as far as they can go. Our collections are one of the most visible pieces of library service and decisions are made every day in every library about those collections. We will look at collection development policies, the changing nature of collections, evaluation and purchasing tools, and establishing useful procedures for selection, weeding, purchasing, and accessing library materials.
