Librarians, library board trustees and Friends members gathered at the Capitol in Des Moines on March 6 for the Iowa Library Association's annual legislative day. They discussed with their respective representatives the important roles that Iowa Library Services and Iowa public libraries play in providing vital programs and services to their constituents, and the need for adequate state funding to continue their endeavors.
