Everyone has all kinds of information stored in digital files, both at work and at home. Are you sure that your files will last? Will you be able to open that file 5, 10 or 20 years from now? In this class you will learn the basics of preserving your digital files. We will explore the best practices to ensure the continued availability of your information.
Tom Keyser, Iowa Library Services reference librarian, is a Certified Archivist, and is one of only 45 people nationwide trained to offer Digital Preservation Outreach and Education programs in connection with the Library of Congress.
