The focus of Town Meetings 2013 will be managing and organizing your work life. The morning presentation will be about information management, focusing on some problem areas you encounter at work in your library - time-wasters, distractions, and email overload. Learn some useful ways to manage files, phone, mail and email, get organized and increase productivity.
The morning segment will also feature local library staff sharing stories about their experience with business continuity during times of transition, and stories about planning and/or coping with staff changes. Plus the always popular morning skit with the "Not Ready For Prime Time Library Players" and afternoon breakout sessions led by Iowa Library Services staff.
Afternoon session topics include:
- Email management
- Tools for organizing projects and daily operations
- Tips for approaching challenges to getting organized
