Consider developing a Martin Luther King-related library project
Celebrate Martin Luther King Day on January 19, 2009.
The State Library of Iowa is pleased to partner with the Iowa office of the Corporation for National and Community Service to encourage Iowans to observe Martin Luther King Day on January 19 as a day of community service.
Below are tip sheets that offer ideas for library-related topics. Please register your projects at the national Martin Luther King Day Web site. Also, feel free to contact the Iowa Office of the Corporation for National and Community Service (515-284-4816) if you have questions or would like assistance in developing a library project in your community.
