‘Geek the Library’ Public Awareness Campaign Launches

The awareness campaign is funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and brought to you by OCLC, a nonprofit international library cooperative.  The campaign is being piloted in two locations:  central Iowa and the Savanna, Georgia area.  The State Library of Iowa is very pleased to partner with OCLC in this important project.  We know that Iowa’s public libraries are key partners in their local communities, and we welcome the opportunity to work with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and OCLC to develop more effective ways to tell the library story.

To learn more about the campaign, see http://geekthelibrary.org/ and/or click on the links below. These documents are in pdf format.
