Keota library wins people counter

Winner was randomly selected from the names of all libraries that submitted annual surveys by Sept. 30.

Congratulations to Rachel Klein, Wilson Memorial Library in Keota, who won this year’s annual survey early submission prize.  As you may recall, the prize was awarded to a library that submitted its annual survey before the early submission deadline of September 30, 2009. This year’s prize is the installation of a people counter at the front door of the library. State Library consultant Scott Dermont will also be available for any consultation needed by the library.

239 libraries submitted their surveys by the September 30 deadline. The survey will close October 30. A page on the State Library's Web site shows all of the libraries that have submitted surveys up to this point.  It will be updated at least weekly until the survey closes. Libraries can use it to make sure that the State Library received the completed survey. If anyone has questions about the survey, don’t hesitate to contact Scott Dermont.

Congratulations Rachel!
