This session will provide an overview of searching and retrieving information on specific projects using the Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center and Home Improvement Reference Center.  Browsing reference books, magazines and videos will also be covered.

Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center is a detailed resource on hobbies, crafts and recreation activities. In addition to detailed “how to” instructions, this database provides magazines, reference books and videos for additional information on over 140 different hobbies.

Home Improvement Reference Center, an online tool for home improvement assistance includes a variety of detailed instructions, images and videos on a variety of projects such as: maintenance, remodeling, electrical work, plumbing, outdoor improvements, decorating as well as home and garden.
