Create a Browser Bookmark

Add EBSCOhost to your list of bookmarks, or Favorites, for quick and easy access.

Instructions for creating a bookmark in Internet Explorer

  1. From Internet Explorer, open the web page you want to add to your Favorites list. Click Favorites>Add to Favorites.
  2. Type a new name for the page, if needed. To open one of your favorite pages, click the Favorites menu, then click the page you want to open. As your list of favorite pages grows, you can organize them into folders.

Instructions for editing a bookmark in Internet Explorer

  1. From Internet Explorer, click Favorites>Organize Favorites. A list of your bookmarks appears.
  2. Click once on the bookmark for EBSCOhost. The bookmark is now highlighted.
  3. Right click and select Properties. The Page Properties Window appears.
  4. Click the Web Document Tab.
  5. The URL associated with this bookmark is listed. You can replace it with another URL, such as an embedded URL if needed.

Instructions for creating a bookmark in Netscape 4.x

  1. From Netscape Communicator, open the web page you want to add to your bookmarks. Click Communicator>Bookmarks.
  2. Choose "Add Bookmark." The name of the currently displayed page is added as the last item in the bookmark menu.

Instructions for editing a bookmark in Netscape 4.x

  1. From Netscape Communicator, click Bookmarks.
  2. Choose "Edit Bookmark." A list of your bookmarks appears.
  3. Highlight the bookmark you want to edit.
  4. Click Edit>Bookmark Properties. The Bookmark Properties window appears.
  5. You can choose a different title for the bookmark and change the URL if desired (i.e., put an embedded URL here).
  6. Click OK. Close the Bookmark window.
