- What is the primary purpose of an Internet Use Policy? What is the primary purpose of your library's Internet Use Policy?
- How many public access computers does your library have? How old are they? What are the limits to adding more? Do you have a plan to add to and/or replace your computers? Who uses your computers?
- Are customers in your library able to do the following on your computers:
- save to a disk, CD and/or flash drive?
- upload a document from a disk, CD and/or flash drive?
- instant message?
- be in chat rooms?
- play online games?
- listen to music or radio on the Internet?
- download files, books, images or music?
- take an online class using voice-over IP?
- get on MySpace or other social software sites?
- Does your library offer help on how to use the computer or various programs?
