The State Library is proud to provde access to the electronic databases EBSCOhost and OCLC FirstSearch.  Libraries must sign up for access to these products through the State Library to gain the discounts and added services that the State Library of Iowa provides.

IEC TRIAL

Free Statewide Trials for Online Resources

Iowa AEAs and the Iowa Educators Consortium (IEC) are again offering discounted pricing and statewide trials on some of the best Web-based library resources available for K-12, college and public libraries. These vendor partnerships offer year-round purchasing direct from the company, new products/features, statewide previews February 1 through March 15, allowing you to easily share trial information with your teachers without the hassle of setting up individual school previews, and the flexibility to request a school preview outside the statewide trial period

The IEC discounts make it possible for you to provide your students with a wealth of information at a very reasonable cost. All products include school and home access for students and students.

Please encourage your librarians and library staff to try these products during the trial period to see how they can enhance and support their curriculum.
