Training Opportunities - EBSCOhost

EBSCOhost training sessions are often scheduled throughout the year through various venues - the State Library, Library Service Areas and AEAs. Monitor the various agencies for possible training schedules. The State Library posts continuing education information and registration forms in the online continuing education catalog: http://www.statelibraryofiowa.org/cgi-bin/cecat/

Each Library Service Area also provides periodic EBSCO training. Check your LSA's web site for upcoming continuing education opportunities.

EBSCO also has several on-line training tutorials.  Selected Titles are:

  • Basic Searching for Academic Libraries
  • Basic Searching for K-12 Libraries
  • Advanced Search With Guided Style
