Interlibrary Loan Reimbursement

  • ILL Reimbursement (formerly known as Access Plus) provides Iowans with equal access to library resources by encouraging and supporting interlibrary loan among all types of libraries.  
  • Participating libraries agree to loan their materials to other libraries for use by their customers and receive a subsidy per loan.  
  • More than 200,000 interlibrary loans are made annually through the program.


ILL Reimbursement  for FY10 (July 1, 2009-June 30, 2010)

 

  • The intended reimbursement rate is $1.75 per transaction, although the rate of reimbursement is prorated if claims exceed the funding available. 
  • The ILL Reimbursement Report for FY10 (below) is due July 31, 2010. 
  • Effective July 1, 2009, the requesting library may now charge the library customer up to $2.00 per item to offset postage.

    Due July 31, 2010. Complete only if you have interlibrary loan transactions done outside of SILO or OCLC. If all of your interlibrary loan transactions were done through SILO or OCLC, you don't need to submit a report. The State Library will use SILO and OCLC statistics to calculate your library's reimbursement.
