How to Edit an Email Account
- Log in to Email Administration
- Click on the Account name that you want to edit
- Edit the account
- Full name: Account holder's first and last name
- State: Account holder's state (usually not used)
- City: Account holder's city (usually not used)
- Unit: Some may use this for area of expertise like: reference
- Password: Single password box. Blank out this box and retype in a new password to change the password
- Alias: Creates an email alias. All mail sent to this alias will end up in the account's inbox
- New Account Name: change the account name. This will change the before the @town.lib.ia.us part of the email address.
- Click the Update button
Once you click the Update button you will see the word Updated in green text in the upper left and lower left hand corners of the center of the page. Once the account has been updated you can go back to the main account list by clicking on the Accounts link in the tab in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
