Training the Junk Filter in Mozilla Thunderbird

Training the Junk Filter to Move Spam to Your Spam Folder

  1. Click on one of the spam messages in your Inbox.
  2. Click on the Junk button near the top center of the window.
  3. The spam will be automatically moved to your Spam folder.

Training the Junk Filter to not Include Legitimate Messages

  1. Click on the message that is not spam, but is in your Spam folder.
  2. Click on the Not Junk button near the top center of the window.
  3. The message will not be moved automatically.  You will need to file it in the appropriate folder.
