Iowalib E-Mail List

About Iowalib

Iowalib is an e-mail list for members of the Iowa library community. It is used to post library news, to exchange library information (such as policies and procedures), to buy, sell or trade library materials and equipment, and to discuss topics and issues affecting libraries.

Iowalib is not intended to be used for sales / commercial messages involving personal profit.

If you're a librarian and need assistance on library management and budgeting issues, please contact your District Office.  General reference questions should be referred to Iowa Library Services reference desk. Inquiries about borrowing library materials should be posted to the SILO Interlibrary Loan e-mail list.

Subscribing to Iowalib

You may subscribe to the iowalib e-mail list through the SILO list server.  All list subscription requests must be approved by the list owner.  The list owner may ask you to complete a short questionnaire, before your subscription request will be approved.  This is simply to verify that you do not intend to post sales or commercial messages involving personal profit.
