How To Change the Color Scheme with the Color Control
There are currently two ways to change the color scheme on your website. The first is with the Color Control. The Color Control lets you select one base color and all of the secondary colors are selected automatically for you. After you have selected your basic color scheme you can make individual changes via the Theme Configuration Manger if you would like.
Color Control gives you the choice of the 140 browser recognized named colors.
Using the Color Control
- Log into your site as the Admin user via the login asterisk
- Click on the Site Setup link
- Click on the Color Control Link from the Add-on Product Configuration section
- Select the base color you would like to use from the drop down menu
- Click on the Save button
Note: An easy way to look through the colors is to select the first color in the list and then use the down arrow on your keyboard to flip through the selections. Also note that after clicking the save button you may need to manually refresh your browser window (Crtl +F5) to see the changing show up.
The Color Control does not allow individual changes. If you would like to make adjustments to the color scheme you pick in the Color Control you will need to use the Theme Configuration Manger.
