How to Add a Contact
- Log in as an author.
- Click on Contact Us (its in the footer)
- From the left navigation portlet, click on Library Staff
- Click on Add Item and select Contact Person
- Fill in the metadata:
- Shortname - use the last name of the person
- Contact Full Name (required)- The person's full name
- First Name (required) - The person''s first name
- Last Name (required) - The person's last name
- Title (required) - The person's job title
- Organization name - The name of the library
- Department - The name of the department in the library in which the person works
- Location - Where the person's office is located
- Address1 - The first line of the mailing address
- Address2 - The second line of the mailing address
- City - The city for the mailing address
- State - Select the state from the drop-down list
- Country - Select a country from the drop-down list
- E-mail - The person's e-mail address
- Homepage or URL - The person's homepage or URL
- Work Phone - Telephone number where this person can be reached
- Fax Number - The fax number of the library
- Mobile Phone - the cellular telephone number of the person
- Notes - Any extra information about the person can be entered here, i.e. biographical information, projects, philosophy, etc.
- Image - browse to find a portrait of the person that has already been added to the Web site
- Click on the Save button
- Click on State:Private and select Publish
