Change the folder view using display options
view displays the content in the folder in the order it resides in the folder. The summary view displays the content type icon, title and the description of the content item and adds a link called Read More... that links to the content item. The content items are separated by a horizontal line.
The Tabular
view displays the contents of the folder in the order it resides in the folder. The contents appear in a table format with column headings and data listed for: the content type icon, Title, Author, Type (the content type,i.e. Folder),and Modified (the date and time the content was last modified).
The Thumbnail
view displays a picture of the content item. This view is mostly used for a folder of images.
The Standard
view displays the contents of the folder in a list. The content type icon, title, description, author and modified date are displayed. The title is in hypertext that links to the content item.
The Content Item as a Default
View displays an item from within the folder as the view of the folder. This item can be any content type in the folder except another folder. When this display option is selected, all possible choices of items for the default view are listed. These are usually pages or links. Only one can be selected for the default view.
Change the display view
- Navigate to the folder in question
- Click on Display
- Click on Summary view
- Click on Tabular view
- Click on Thumbnail view
- Click on Standard view
- Click on Select a content item as default view
- Click the radio button beside the item you would like to make the default view.
- Click on the Save button
