How to Add Keywords to Plone Content

Keywords are now known as categories on your website. While the terms have changed the overall functionality has remained similar. The major difference is that now categories will show on the page. All other functionality remains the same.

Add New Keywords

  1. Login as an author or admin
  2. Navigate to the page where you want to add keywords
  3. Click on the Edit tab
  4. Click on the Categorization box
  5. Place cursor in the New categories box
  6. Type new keywords or phrases in the box - you can add multiple keywords at one time.
  7. Click on the save button

Apply Keywords

  1. Navigate to the page where you want to add keywords
  2. Click on the Edit tab
  3. Click on the Categorization box
  4. Click once on the key words in the Keywords List to apply them to the page
    • Hold the Ctrl key down while clicking on the words to apply multiple key words to the page
  5. Click on the save button
