How to Switch to Using the tinyMCE editor

Please note that if you make the change to using the TinyMCE editor everyone else at your library should also do the same. This should be done as table alignment works slightly different between Kupu and TinyMCE. In Kupu all table alignment defaults to the top whereas in TinyMCE table alignment defaults to middle and  you are given the option to set top, middle, or bottom alignments. There are also more heading options in TinyMCE that are not available in Kupu. In both cases it may be hard to maintain a consistent look for your content if you have people using both editors.

  1. Log in to your website
  2. Click on the Preferences link (located next to your username and the log out link)
  3. Click the Personal Preferences link
  4. Scroll down and select TinyMCE from the Content editor drop down box
  5. Click the Save button
