How To Retrieve Your ISP's E-Mail in SILO Web Mail

  1. Go to http://mail.cityname.lib.ia.us in your web browser, where cityname is the name of your city as it appears in your domain name
  2. In the username field, enter your e-mail account's user name
  3. In the password field, enter your e-mail account's password
  4. Click on the Log me in button
  5. Login to web mail and click on the Options link in the left pane
  6. Under Setup Options, click on the Advanced Options link
  7. Click on the Check Other Email Accounts link
  8. In the Host field, enter the address of Internet Service Provider's (ISP's) Incoming mail server (POP3).  This address should be listed in your ISP's e-mail documentation.
  9. In the Username field, enter the account name you use to get e-mail at your ISP.  It may be the full e-mail address your ISP's e-mail account or everything before the @.
  10. In the Password field, enter in the password for your ISP's e-mail account.
  11. Click on the Save Account Details button.
