Exporting Your Address Book from Outlook
- Open Outlook.
- From the File menu, select the Import and Export... option.
- Select the Export to a file option.
- Click on the Next > button.
- Select the Comma Separated Values (DOS) file type.
- Click on the Next > button.
- If you are prompted with Microsoft Outlook cannot start the required translator. This feature is not currently installed. Would you like to install it now? click on the Yes button. The installation will take a couple of minutes.
- In the Select a folder to export from: field, select the Contacts folder.
- Click on the Next > button.
- Click on the Browse button and click on the Desktop button in the left pane.
- In the File name: field, enter in: addresses
- Click on the OK button.
- You will be returned to the wizard. Click on the Next > button.
- In the The following actions will be performed: field Export "Contacts" from folder: Contacts will be selected. Click on the Finish button.
Importing Your Address Book into Web Mail
- Log in to web mail.
- In the left pane, click the Addresses button.
- In the upper right-hand corner, click on the Import an Address Book button.
- In the File to Import field, click on the Browse button and click on the Desktop button in the left pane.
- Select the addresses file, and click on the Open button.
- For the Address Book to import to field, pull-down the menu and select the default address book.
- Click on the Import button.
- You will be returned to your Address Book with the new addresses included.
