How To Reply, Forward, and Redirect Messages

What are Reply, Forward, and Redirect?

  • Reply - Responds to the sender of the message.  Comments can be added.
  • Forward - Sends the message on to another recipient.  Comments can be added, and the message appears as coming from you with the forwarded message included.
  • Redirect - Sends the message on to another recipient.  Comments can not be added, and the message appears as a normal message coming from the original sender.

How to Reply to E-mails

  1. Log in to web mail.
  2. From inside an open message, click on the Reply button at the top or bottom of the message.
  3. In the reply message, the To address will already be filled in with the original sender's address.
  4. In the large text box, type enter in your comments.
  5. Click on the Send button to send the message.

How to Forward E-mails

  1. Log in to web mail.
  2. From inside an open message, click on the Forward button at the top or bottom of the message.
  3. In the To field, enter in the address you are forwarding the message to.
  4. In the Subject field, enter in a brief subject for the message.
  5. In the large text box, enter in your comments.
  6. Click on the Send button to send the message.

How to Redirect E-mails

  1. Log in to web mail.
  2. From inside an open message, click on the Redirect button at the top or bottom of the message.
  3. In the To field, enter in the address you are redirecting the message to.
  4. Click on the Click here to SEND button to send the message.
