How To Change a Subscriber's E-Mail Address

  1. Log into the list admin interface for a list the subscriber is a member of.
  2. Click on the Membership Management... link.
  3. After the page refreshes, click ontheĀ  [Membership List] link.
  4. Find the e-mail address of the subscriber whose options you'd like to change and click on the link.
  5. In the Changing your listname membership information section where listname is the name of the list, look for New Address.
  6. In the New Address field enter the subscriber's new address.
  7. In the Again to confirm field enter the subscriber's new address again.
  8. You may enter the subscriber's full name in Your name (optional).
  9. Leave the Change Globally check box checked.
  10. Click on the Change My Address and Name button.
  11. When the page refreshes, read through the information provided near the top of the page to verify that Mailman sent a confirmation message.
  12. The subscriber will be sent a confirmation message at the new e-mail address asking them to either:
    • Click on the link included in the e-mail message and follow the instructions on the resulting web page.
    • Reply to the confirmation message without changing it and send it.
