How To Change a Subscriber's E-Mail Address
- Log into the list admin interface for a list the subscriber is a member of.
- Click on the Membership Management... link.
- After the page refreshes, click ontheĀ [Membership List] link.
- Find the e-mail address of the subscriber whose options you'd like to change and click on the link.
- In the Changing your listname membership information section where listname is the name of the list, look for New Address.
- In the New Address field enter the subscriber's new address.
- In the Again to confirm field enter the subscriber's new address again.
- You may enter the subscriber's full name in Your name (optional).
- Leave the Change Globally
check box checked.
- Click on the Change My Address and Name button.
- When
the page refreshes, read through the information provided near the top
of the page to verify that Mailman sent a confirmation message.
- The subscriber will be sent a confirmation message at the new e-mail address asking them to either:
- Click on the link included in the e-mail message and follow the instructions on the resulting web page.
- Reply to the confirmation message without changing it and send it.
