Click Discard List to empty the entire Exception List. Records will NOT be added to the SILO Locator. See the next page for additional information on discarding records.
- Mark the records to work on by clicking in the checkbox next to the record. To select all the records displayed on the page click Mark All. This only marks the records displayed on the page.
- Select Clear Marks to clear all the checkboxes and select records differently.
- Click either the Delete Marked or Search Marked button before navigating away from the page.
Note: Marks are not saved when you navigate away from the page!
Working Through the Records in the Exception List
Once the records on the page are marked there are two options to take action on the records:
Delete Marked – This option will remove the marked records from the Exception List. These records will NOT be added to the SILO Locator.
Search Marked – This option will place the marked records into a search queue and will automatically search the first record in the SILO Locator. The records will remain in the search queue until all the records have been searched against the SILO Locator. The purpose of performing a search is to try to find a matching record in the SILO Locator on which to attach your library’s holding.
