How to Create a Picture Exhibit
Images must be uploaded to the Web site before they can be used on the Web site. This includes images that will be added to pages, or images that will be used in a picture exhibit. Most of the popular graphic file formats are acceptable. JPEG and GIF are the most common formats used. Images that will be used in a picture exhibit do not need to be resized.
For this exercise we will use a set of JPEG files located in the PLOW folder on the desktop of the PLOW laptop. At your library, download pictures from a digital camera and store them on your local computer or network. Rename the pictures using descriptive file names so it will be easier to add the metadata for each picture.
