How to Add an Image to a Page

Upload your photo

  1. Log in as an author
  2. Navigate to the Home Folder
  3. Click on the Contents tab
  4. Click on the Images folder
  5. Click Add Item and select Image from the list
  6. Add this metadata:
    • Shortname - hyphenated two-word file name
    • Title - title of your picture
    • Description - a description of your picture
  7. Click on Browse
  8. Navigate to the location of the file on your computer
  9. Click on the file name
  10. Click on Open
  11. Click on the Save button
  12. Click on State:Private and select Publish

Insert your image into a page

  1. Navigate to the page where you would like to insert the image
  2. Click Edit
  3. Place cursor at the end of the text
  4. Click the image icon from the Kupu Editor menu bar
  5. Click Home - Images - your-file-name.jpg
  6. Select the preferred image size options
  7. Click OK
  8. Click and drag the picture anywhere within the text on the page, drop the picture to see how it aligns with the text

  9. Note:Be careful not to resize the image as you are moving it.
  10. Click on the Save button
  11. Click on State:Private and select Publish from the list
