Adding Your Web Site to your Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Pull-down the Tools menu and select Internet Options...
  3. At the top of the Internet Options window, click on the Security tab.
  4. In the zone box, select the Local Intranet icon.
  5. Click on the Sites... button.
  6. In the Local intranet window, click on the Advanced... button.
  7. In the Add this Web site to the zone: field, enter in the complete address for your web site, including the http:// (ex: http://www.anytown.lib.ia.us).
  8. Click on the Add button.
  9. Click on the OK button.
  10. In the Local intranet window, click on the OK button.
  11. In the Internet Options window, click on the OK button.
