Zope Management Interface Commandments

  1. Thou shall not use the Zope Management Interface to accomplish tasks you can do in Plone, i.e. make a folder.
  2. Thou shall use the Zope Management Interface only to make specific changes to your Web site that require the Zope Management Interface.
  3. Thou shall only use the Zope Management Interface to make changes where SILO or www.plone.org authorizes and approves.
  4. Thou shall follow the instructions exactly, and only click on the items specified in the instructions.
  5. Thou shall not play around in the Zope Management Interface.
  6. Thou shall get into the Zope Management Interface thusly: log in as admin, click on site setup, click on Zope Management Interface.
  7. Thou shall exit the Zope Management Interface thusly: click on the leading slash in the path at the top of the page and click on the View tab.
  8. Thou shall call the SILO Help Desk and confess your transgressions immediately after breaking your site by violating #1 - #7.
  9. Thou shall not use the Undo tab in the Zope Management Interface to avoid the consequences of #8.
