FY04 Public Library Statistics

Public library statistics for FY04 are available as .pdf files (Adobe Acrobat required). Sections include: Income, Expenditures, Collections, Circulation, Other, Introduction, Divider Information and Contents, and Libraries by Size Code (A-L) (L-Z).

A county-by-county funding study for rural library services in FY04 was made possible by the work of the Library Service Areas: rural library funding by county (.xls); rural library funding by valuation (.xls); rural library funding by per capita (.xls). The per capita amount is based on the rural (non-city) population of each county.

FY04 Public Library General Information Survey

The FY04 Annual Survey was available 7/1/04 in electronic format with Web Collect. All libraries with Internet access were required to complete the survey using Web Collect.

The packet mailed to every public library included an Introduction, a Cover Letter, and a Library Trustee Survey.

The survey was due 10/31/04.
 

As of 2005, Output Measures are no longer required. They may be done every 3 years. Download and print the In-Library Materials Use Log, the Document Delivery Log, and the Document Delivery Tally Sheet. Also optional are the electronic usage form and the output measures form.
