Part B - Service Hours per Typical Week
Please report the typical weekly number of hours this library media center is open for use. Report hours during school, before and after school hours, and during the summer.
Our example library is open 7 hours per day during school hours, or 35 hours per week (line B1.) It is also open 1 hour per day before school, or 5 hours per week (line B2.) Our example library is not open after school (line B3) it is not closed during school hours (line B4), and it is not open in the summer (line B5).

Definitions:
Typical Week
A "typical week" is a time that is neither unusually busy or unusually slow. Avoid holiday times, vacation times for key staff, or days
when unusual events are taking place in the community or in the library. Choose a week in which the library
is open its regular hours. Include five consecutive calendar days.
School Hours
The hours between the opening bell and the closing bell, also known as "student hours."
