How To Search for a Specific E-Mail
- Log in to web mail.
- In the left pane, click on the Search button.
- In the Step 1. Enter your search criteria form, fill out one ore more of the following fields:
- From: -- Enter in an e-mail address when searching for a message from a specific address.
- To: -- Enter in an e-mail address when searching for a message to a specific address. This address can include e-mail lists and e-mail addresses other than your own.
- Subject: -- Enter in a subject when searching for a message you know the subject of.
- Message Body: -- Enter in one or more key words that you know can be found in the body of a message. To search for an entire sentence, check the Search for the entire sentence you have entered in Message Body or the individual words.
Eg. When ticked it will search for 'test message'. When unticked it will search for 'test' and 'message' box.
Entering in more than one criteria will result in a more specific search including all of the criteria entered. - In the Select the folders to search field, select one or more folders to search in. Multiple folders can be selected by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on the selected folders.
- Click on the Search for emails button.
- The results will appear below the search form. Click to open the e-mail you were searching for.
