UK Report on Marketing Public Libraries to Young People

Findings could be relevant to U.S. libraries as well.

The Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (the British equivalent of the IMLS) has issued "A Research Study of 14-35 year olds for the Future Development of Public Libraries."  Market segments they identified included:

     Borrowers
     Students
     Family Activity Seekers
     Functional Dabblers
     Teenage Space Seekers
     Disconnected
