SILO Interlibrary Loan is on the Web and ready to use! Any Iowa library with holdings in the SILO Locator can now use the SILO Interlibrary Loan system to borrow and lend library materials.
Participant Agreement   Last modified August 21, 2006 10:55 AM
To participate in SILO Interlibrary Loan, a library must agree to the rules of interlibrary loan in Iowa.
Find a Locator Code   Last modified October 27, 2006 08:36 AM
Your seven-digit Locator Code is needed to login to SILO Interlibrary Loan. Locator Codes are found in the online Iowa Library Directory or the print version of the Iowa Library Directory.

SILO Interlibrary Loan requires a library to login each time it is used. This identifies the library and begins the session. The system is password protected and is for the use of Iowa libraries.

Search the SILO Locator to identify library materials to borrow from other Iowa libraries.
Submit a Request   Last modified August 21, 2006 10:55 AM
After searching the SILO Locator and identifying an item to borrow, click on the item to transfer it to an interlibrary loan form.
