Still Time to Register for Summer Library Program Workshops

Teen workshops, too!

Summer Library Program workshops

There is still time to register for the 2008 Summer Library Program workshops, as well as the Teen Summer Library Workshops (for teens, see below). 

This year's Summer Library Program theme is "Catch the Reading Bug."  Jean Gullikson from Dubuque, a long-time youth services librarian, will be the workshop presenter.

All workshops will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. and training at 9 a.m. The workshops at Grundy Center (Feb. 6) and Johnston (Feb. 7) are full.  You can still register for the sites listed below.

Teen Summer Library Workshops


Courtney Alfaro, teen librarian from the West Des Moines Public Library, will be the workshop presenter.  Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the training will begin at 9 a.m.

March 11
